There´s a story to these tiny little baby shoes and I´m going to tell you.
Once...about almost 29 years ago my mother was pregnant with me. She got this little shoes from my italian grandmother (she was called Stella wich means "star") as a symbol that, in her thoughts (because she lived in Italy and my mum and dad in Germany), she is with my mother, wishing her all the best for her pregnancy.
I never knew about them.
Now...about 29 years later I am pregnant with a little girl and in the beginning, my mother gave those shoes to me, as a symbol that she and my grandmother Stella (she has died on Christmas day some years ago) are with me and my unborn, wishing me all the best...a kind of wish over three generations to the fourth .
Actually I never walked in this shoes, they were never been "walked" outside, they never had fresh air under their soles, they never experienced the bigbig world outside.
I will keep them for my little one (little Danu ) and they can be sure to experience quite some adventures with us.
But I will also keep them always in memory of my grandmother and mother...and one day, when my little one is pregnant I´m going to give them to her.

This shot is special to me...it is pure love!!! It is also a kind of conceptual shot to show that it is 100% going to be a girl...my little girl.
